Carol and Stan, resident owners and proprietors of the ClubHouse Hotel in Southport, invite you to visit our Hotel and home for the past twenty years. The ClubHouse is a privately owned, family run, and entirely independent guest-hotel. The Hotel is not so big as to be impersonal but spacious enough to afford large bedrooms and public areas. A pretty Victorian walled garden available for use of guests on request (If you can resist the urge to shop!) |
|
The hotel is a Victorian building of distinction. Fortunately, the ornate cornices, fireplaces and perfect proportions of all the main rooms have been retained and we have spent twenty years maintaining a balance of tradition and modern amenities.
Breakfast is served in our large, airy dining room (non-smoking). Most guests enjoy the treat of a full English Breakfast but other less calorific and vegetarian options are available. To start, a selection of cereals and juice and milk is available so that you can help yourself. The main breakfast is served to you at the table.

The hotel is situated in a quiet mainly residential road between the tree-lined Lord Street, a Parisian- style boulevard of shops, restaurants, open-air coffee shops etc and a Promenade. The promenade now boasts a brand new stylish bridge to the foreshore and a newly renovated Pier, one of the longest in Great Britain where you can enjoy a stroll in the bracing sea breezes.
The Floral Hall is within 5 minutes' walk as is the centre of town, making the ClubHouse the ideal venue for conference delegates, theatre-goers and shoppers alike.
Restaurants of all varieties are within a two minute walk, Chinese, Italian, Indian, Greek, Pub Grub etc. However, Leicester Street is just away from the hustle and bustle of the main thoroughfares.
